Hello dear crafting friends, how are you today? The daffodils are out so maybe spring weather may arrive soon!
With Spring in mind I made this Spring Scene.I used a deep wooden frame, and created a Watercolour background. I then used a wonderful spring stamp set which came free with Crafts Beautiful magazine. I coloured and fussy cut the stamps and added them to the front part of the frame and added various dried flowers, and twigs. I adhered the butterfly stamps onto some thin wire so they could fly freely in the scene
Thank you for visiting and I hope you are having time to have crafty fun.
I would like to enter my Spring Scene into the following challenges.
Another gorgeous framed picture Jannet. I think these are becoming your trademark as I knew it was yours before I looked at your name. this is absolutely beautiful and just perfect for Spring x
ReplyDeleteHello Jannet, what a wonderful framed picture, you've achieved such fabulous depth and texture with all the super fabric, and twigs, it's such a pretty little scene, Love it, Kate x
ReplyDeleteOoh this is absolutely beautiful! So much depth - love the natural feel to it. xxx
ReplyDeleteJannet, I think this is the sweetest Easter/spring project I've seen! I love the little bunnies hiding in the tall 'grasses' and the butterflies flitting about! Your watercolor background is so soft in color and a perfect scene setter! Love this framed up in a wooden frame. Thank you for sharing with us at Frilly and Funkie in our Knock on Wood challenge. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see your beautiful work recognized at Frilly and Funkie! Congratulations on being chosen as one of our Top Three favorites! Hugs!
