Alice has fallen down the Rabbit Hole and has magically found herself in Winterland!
I created the background with watercolours and I used Indigoblu stamps for Alice and the tree.
I squeezed some glossy accents onto the top of the picture and let it drip down to look like icicles and then shook a generous amount of fine white glitter over the top.
I used glass beads at the bottom of the picture for Alice to stand on, I hope she does not get too cold!
Thank you so much for visiting myself and Alice today we are all mad here ; )
Lost Coast Stamps are holding a wonderful Alice in Winterland challenge, and their Design Team have created some lovely pieces! I would love to enter this into their challenge.

Fashionable Stamping Challenge Winter or Spring I will let you guess which one I have done : ) Flonzcrafts make some lovely very unique stamps, and I was lucky to be their random winner last month.I am so looking forward to working with their wonderful stamps. I choose a variety of stamps from a Victorian child to a 1950's model - can't wait for them to arrive and share what I make!
I discovered today that my little Christmas box (3 inch square) won the Readers Challenge in Papercraft Inspirations! I gave this box to my Mother for Christmas and filled it with lip balms and little chocs.
I made the box some time ago with some beautiful Forest Magic stamps which came with the magazine. I wrote a few words about it here.
My talented friend Sandra's gorgeous card was published too!
Thank you so much for visiting. May you have many happy days in 2017!
How are all your Christmas preparations going? I had a bit of a fight with a falling Christmas tree earlier this week!
Every year I try to make a December Daily journal to record all of the Christmas mishaps and preparations.
I created the background with watercolours, I added some Iridescent Medium to them. I cut the beautiful swan from a Christmas card! I used the trees from the Indigoblu Winterland Wood stamp set on the cover, and the deers and trees on the tags which I popped into a pocket on the inside cover.
The inside pocket is made from Kaisercrafts Christmas Wishes range. I used glossy accents on the top edge of the pocket and let It drip down to make icicles and then shook lashings of white glitter over it!
I tied on blue, pink, and white organza ribbons to the tags.
The 8x8 scrapbook is from Hobbycraft.
Thank you so much for visiting, I hope all your Christmas preparations are going well!

I have a rather large pile of boxes because they maybe useful one day! I have actually used one of those boxes to make a little 3 inch square gift box.
I painted the box pink, and stamped tiny snowflakes on the sides of the lid. The scene on the top was created with watercolours and glitter, and a lovely set of Forest Magic Stamps.
Thank you so much for visiting, I hope to see you again soon!

Hello, I hope everyone has had a good summer. Its my most favourite time of the year, and it's always sad to see it slip into Autumn. It's now time for children to return to school so this months challenge at Mixed Media Mojo is Back to School with a Twist of Primary Colours.
Now what to put inside the drawers? You could put small sweets or mini gifts such as erasers, pencil toppers etc I decided to make some miniature books. I used my Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and Classic Pooh stamps, to decorate both sides of the miniature accordian books.
Thank you,so much for stopping by. I hope to see you again soon.

This months Challenge theme at Mixed Media Mojo is Summertime with a Twist of Shells. you do not have to use the twist if you don't want to, it's all about having fun!
I made this fairly simple 6 x 6 mini book for the theme. I will be adding a few notes and pictures about how I created it later this month.
I hope you will join in the fun this month.
For the canvas I used a chipboard backing from a paper pad and coated it with gesso.
I glued layers of tissue paper on the top part of the canvas. When dry I used watercolours on top of the tissue and then stamped the sentiment. The remaining canvas was coloured with dye inks and splattered with watercolours.
I made the flowers with strips of fabric which I rolled around and around into a circle. Some twisted green net became its leaves.
I finished by adding a little sparkle and some cross stitches in a silver thread.
Thank you for visiting.
Please take a look at all the fabulous projects from the Mixed Media Design Team we have a fabulous guest Designer this month Ingrid. I hope you will join in with the challenge this month, have fun!
This week I have been busy making 50 identical invitations. I have done about 14 so far, and well they are not all quite identical!
I took a break from them, to join in the Unity Challenge on Facebook which is to use the colours Teal and Grey. These are not my most favourite colours so this was a real challenge.
I cut the butterflies out of some very pretty tissue paper.
Thank you for visiting.
Don't forget there is plenty of time to enter The Mixed Media Mojo Challenge which this month is Recycle with a twist of using Metal.
