Down the Rabbit Hole
Everyone wants to go down the Rabbit Hole with Alice. So we are going to create our very own Rabbits Hole card using pages from a vintage Alice in Wonderland book!
If you don't not have any old books, you can easily find them in charity shops, Jumble sales, and online auction sites.
I carefully removed 7 pages from an old vintage Alice in Wonderland book
I cut a circle in the first page and decreased the size of this circle on each following page.
I edged the inside of the circle with brown ink and adhered the pages on top of one another using clear 3D sticky pads
I watercoloured my stamped images of Alice, Leaves and a small Butterfly, and fussy cut each of them.
I mixed some Ruby Slippers paint into a spoonful of fine texture paste and swept it into one of the roses on the stencil.
I used a versamarker inkpad to stamp the script onto my 7x7 card blank. I used Teal luscious over the versamarker dabbing it lightly with a brush.
When the Rose was dry I brushed ultra thick Slap it on over it to give it a glossy finish.
I adhered Alice, the leaves and rose onto the Rabbit Hole
I adhered the rabbit hole onto the card and arranged the leaves and butterfly around it.
I added a finishing touch by stamping Alice onto the front of the envelope.I think I may add some colour to Alice...
There is lots more inspiration on the Indigoblu blog
Thank you so much for coming down the Rabbit Hole with me today. I hope to see you again soon.

Alice is in Winterland
Alice has fallen down the Rabbit Hole and has magically found herself in Winterland!
I created the background with watercolours and I used Indigoblu stamps for Alice and the tree.
I squeezed some glossy accents onto the top of the picture and let it drip down to look like icicles and then shook a generous amount of fine white glitter over the top.
I used glass beads at the bottom of the picture for Alice to stand on, I hope she does not get too cold!
Thank you so much for visiting myself and Alice today we are all mad here ; )
Lost Coast Stamps are holding a wonderful Alice in Winterland challenge, and their Design Team have created some lovely pieces! I would love to enter this into their challenge.

Play along with Mixed Media Mojo Challenge this month the theme is New and the twist is Clocks. There is a whole new Design Team so be sure to pay them a visit.

Alice In Winterland
In the winter, Wonderland becomes Winterland, and Alice loves to walk in the snowy forest.
I painted the top of my 20cm (8inch) canvas with Iced Gem paint, and randomly painted on Snow White metallic paint on the bottom. I used the star stencil and Slap it On to add some raised stars to the top of the canvas and also painted those pink.
I used Archival Olive Ink pad to stamp the trees from the Winterland wood stamp set. I stamped the two distance trees without reinking the stamp, so it gave a more faded and distant look. I used white paint to add snow to the trees which was followed by flitterglu and white glitter.
I stamped and coloured Alice from the Indigoblu Alice stamp set, and stamped the bunnies in black Archival from the Winterland set. I fussy cut them all out and adhered them to the canvas.
I spread glass bead gel medium to the bottom of the canvas to give some glistening texture to the snow. When it was dry, I lightly added white paint to some areas.
I Die cut some snowflakes and stars in various sizes and covered them in Flitterglu and white glitter. I adhered them to the top of the canvas using sticky foam pads.
Thank you so much for visiting, I hope to see you again soon.
